Shady Grove Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a youth leader. Our youth program is an outreach program, seeking to reach the community for Christ, and focuses on discipleship training of church youth to serve Christ more effectively. The primary characteristic of the youth leader is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This leader will have a salvation testimony and be able to state how his life has changed since being saved. He will also have a love of youth and an energetic zeal for leading youth into a mature and active relationship with Christ and the Christian community. Additionally, the youth leader will have an active agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) and be encouraged to be an active member of our church.
The youth leader is expected to be a positive and mature role model at Shady Grove Baptist Church, encouraging the youth to be active, participating members of the church, including Sunday School attendance, summer camp, youth events, as well as fund raising events and youth activities.
