New Bethel (New Bethel SBC on Facebook) is seeking a PT/Bivo youth minister. We have a well established and strongly supported youth and children’s ministry. Title: Youth Minister
Supervision: Primary supervision of this position will be administered by the Pastor. This will include regular evaluation of: program implementation, job description compliance and regular review of Bible teaching. Secondary supervision will be administered by the Leadership Team.
Summary: In conjunction with the overall mission, purpose and ministry plan of New Bethel Baptist Church, this part time position plans and implements discipleship, ministry, worship, fellowship and evangelism activities for the youth of New Bethel Baptist Church. This is a salaried position with a general expectation of 8-10 hours per week of work; depending on the time of year additional hours may be needed.
Scope: The Youth Minister will work primarily with Youth (7th – 12th grade) but will also give leadership through the children’s ministry team when possible. There may also be overlap in other age groups as the student ministry is implemented into the overall ministry plan of the church.
Compensation:
Evaluated annually –$18,500.
An additional $1,500 stipend will be paid in June for VBS & Camps
