Centerville Baptist Church is a Christ-centered church that is passionate about helping people grow in faith and live it out every day. We are an established church that has been serving our community for 140 years. Our youth ministry is vibrant, energetic, and ready for a leader who loves Jesus, students, and building meaningful relationships.
We are looking for a Youth Pastor who has a genuine, growing relationship with Jesus, connects with middle and high school students, communicates biblical truth, builds strong relationships with parents, creates a safe, fun, and spiritually rich environment. Must be organized, dependable, and excited to lead and train our next generation.
Key Responsibilities, lead weekly youth gatherings, bible studies, and small groups, plan events, retreats, mission opportunities, and service projects, recruit, train, and support youth ministry volunteers, partner with parents to support students’ spiritual growth, collaborate with church staff to integrate youth into the life of the church, provide pastoral care to students and families.
Qualifications should include Ministry experience with youth, Strong communication and leadership skills, Ability to plan and execute programs and events, A heart for discipleship and evangelism, Education or training in ministry or related field preferred, but not required.
