As our Youth Minister, you will play a key role in developing and implementing a dynamic youth ministry program. This par-time position is an excellent opportunity for a college or seminary student with a heart for youth and a desire to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
-Youth Pastoring: Provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and pastoral care to our youth community, fostering a supportive and welcoming environment.
-Curriculum and Gatherings: Develop engaging and relevant curriculum for weekly youth gatherings, creating spaces for learning, worship, and community building.
-Youth Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of dedicated youth leaders, fostering a collaborative and enthusiastic ministry team.
-Event Planning: Organize and execute special events, retreats, and activities that promote spiritual growth and strengthen the sense of community among the youth.
Qualifications:
-Enthusiastic about working with youth and fostering their spiritual development.
-Pursuing a degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (college or seminary students preferred).
-Strong organizational and leadership skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to collaborate with church leadership and parents for the holistic development of youth.
