Resolutions

A Resolution is typically defined as an expression of opinion as compared to a Motion, which calls for action.  A Resolution is not used to direct any church or entity of the Mississippi Baptist Convention to specific action other than to communicate appreciation or otherwise express an opinion.  Resolutions are submitted through the Committee on Resolutions prior to the annual gathering of the Convention and the Committee’s report is published in the First Day Bulletin of the Convention for presentation and consideration.
