These gatherings are designed to provide fellowship, encouragement, development, networking, and support for worship leaders in every ministry setting.

RISE Training is a customizable ministry training experience designed to strengthen churches and leaders for effective, Gospel-centered impact. It focuses on Reaching communities by mobilizing believers to share Christ’s love, Investing in intentional relationships, discipleship, and the development of next-generation leaders, Serving with compassion and Gospel purpose, and Equipping churches with practical tools and resources for faithful, sustainable ministry.

The Mississippi Baptist Singing Churchwomen are comprised of female worship ministry leaders—ministers of music, accompanists, children’s choir coordinators, etc.—from across the state of Mississippi. Sharing a similar mission as the Singing Churchmen, these women have a long history of gathering to share testimony through song.

Audition interviews for the MBASYCO are held each Fall in several locations around Mississippi. Students in grades 9 through 12 who are active members of music ministries in Southern Baptist churches are eligible to audition.

Join us for an inspiring and practical gathering designed to strengthen your congregation through biblical leadership. This conference will also provide hands-on training for completing the Annual Church Profile (ACP)—a vital tool for ministry growth and accountability.

These workshops will provide youth ministry training and an opportunity to discuss youth ministry as it relates to the smaller churches and churches that don’t employ a full-time paid youth minister. A light supper will also be served to all participants who pre-register.
