The Evangelism Department leads this annual event reaching those attending the Dixie National Rodeo.

The heart of the Mississippi Baptist Convention is missions and sharing the Good News of Jesus. In today’s world, travel safety is a significant concern. The Missions’ departments (Missions Mobilization, Men’s and Women’s Ministry and Collegiate Ministry) of MBCB want to assist volunteers in traveling safely. Because we continue to be missional and serve in the difficult areas, we must do our part in preparing our people.

Come and join us for our 2026 MSBDR Regional Training Workshop. All participants will complete Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Ministry and one specialty class (Basic Chainsaw, Introduction to Chaplaincy, Feeding Operations, or Recovery & Support).

These workshops will provide youth ministry training and an opportunity to discuss youth ministry as it relates to the smaller churches and churches that don’t employ a full-time paid youth minister. A light supper will also be served to all participants who pre-register.

This event is for Pre-School/Children and Adult Sunday School teachers. The workshop is designed for using any curriculum, but we will use Lifeway’s three Sunday School curriculum pieces (Bible Studies for Life, Explore the Bible & The Gospel Project) for examples.
